Memorial for H.G. Sucirani devi dasi
January 5th marked the 3rd anniversary of the departure of H.G. Sucirani devi dasi, my husband (Ananda Tirtha Prabhu)’s mother. We held a small memorial program in honor of this greatly respected and loved Vaisnavi.
A special addition to the program was the participation of H.G Jagattarini devi dasi, a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada, who phoned in from Australia. The message was grave: “Death is coming, are you ready?” Devotees took it to heart with gravity and introspection:
