A Bond Of Love
Dear Dear Devotees:
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
As you may know, Malati Prabhu has inspired us to compile some of Srila Prabhupada’s daughters’ memories. We hope this compilation will preserve for posterity Srila Prabhupada’s legacy of exchanges with his women disciples and will illumine still more facets of his glories – how his reciprocation with them endeared his daughters to him and gave them life-long inspiration and guidance.
We humbly request all women disciples of Srila Prabhupada who had personal experiences with him to provide material for this book. After so many years your life is still reposed around Srila Prabhupada’s lotus feet. Why? Your answer to this question will form fragrant flowers for this garland of memories we will offer Srila Prabhupada together, with gratitude and love.
Please contact us at daughtersofsrilaprabhupada@gmail.com to arrange for us to interview you or for information about writing or recording your memories and sending them to us. We will facilitate you in any way you require.
In advance, thank you over and over for your cooperation. This project belongs to all of us and its success depends on all of us, Srila Prabhupada’s loving daughters. May our efforts reflect Srila Prabhupada’s teachings and mood.

Original Pastel Drawing of Srila Prabhupada
This pastel (chalk) drawing is on grey pastel art paper and is done in black, white, shades of grey, and sepia (or sanguine). Srila Prabhupada is seated, his left hand on his silver-tipped cane, and is looking to his right side. He wears a thick garland. His sweater is visible under his coat, and his left hand has a ring.
This drawing was copied from a photograph that appeared in an ISKCON book, possibly “Planting the Seed.”
This drawing has water damage around the figure, plus a little on the top right of his head and the bottom part of the visible cane. Someone put contact paper over the entire picture and this CANNOT be removed. However, it is still a great portrait of Srila Prabhupada by an expert ISKCON artist.
The letters of the artist’s name are illegible.
Price: $20 (As Is condition)
Will deliver at the Sunday feast.
Call Ramlila’s phone and leave a message.

Prabhupada Letter Sept. 3, 1971
CAMP: ISKCON; 7, Bury Place; London, W.C.1; ENGLAND
September 3, 1971
My Dear Ranadhir,
Please accept my blessings. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 30th August, 1971 and I thank you very much for the same. Also please offer my blessings to your wife and newly welcome daughter whom I have named Radhastami Dasi.
I have read your letter with great pleasure how you are appreciating this Krishna Consciousness Movement and becoming happy more and more in executing devotional service to Lord Krishna. Now you have got Radha Krishna Dieties. Please worship them very nicely Change the dress and ornaments and flowers daily and offer nice bhoga. At night offer puris, milk and other nice preparations should be offered also. In the morning offer fruits and during the day time nice dhal, chopaties, etc. Sometimes special preparations can be offered on Sun day – Kachories, sweet balls Keep everything very neat and clean and there should always be candle light and incense and chanting Hare Krishna 24 hours. You will find that New Vrindaban is not different from the original Vrindaban.
So you have got a nice Radhastami child. She will be ever remembered as one of the maidservants of Radharani and her life will be happy in the association of devotees.
I understand that the incense business is very lucrative there. So get money and develop New Vrindaban to its fullest extent. Also you can send me $400.00 for the Dieties as soon as possible.
Hoping this will meet you all in good health.
Your ever well-wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
2008 Govardhana Puja…Success Through Volunteers
This year’s Govardhana Puja at New Vrindaban was one of the best, thanks to all the devotees who contributed to the festivities!
Varsana Swami’s class was electrifying and set the mood for the ecstatic abhishek and kirtan that followed.
Our community cooks brought mountains of sweets and other preparations to be offered at the feet of Sri Gopal Nathaji, providing great pleasure to the Lord.
Enthusiastic volunteers, led by Tattva Darshana, filled take-out boxes with maha prasadam and distributed them to everyone in a well-organized manner.
A huge “Thank You!” to everyone who brought food preparations, served the guests, sang, danced, and otherwise participated in worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His form of Govardhan Hill.
Prabhupada Letter Ajug. 27, 1971

27th August, 1971
My Dear Shama Dasi,
Please accept my blessings. I beg to acknowÂledge receipt of your letter dated 20th August, 1971 and have noted the contents. When I received the letter the envelope had been opened and then stapled closed and some portion of the letter was missing; it came in two parts. I don’t know what happened or what part of your letter is missing.
Anyway, please be happy with the newly installed Dieties there in New Vrindaban and take very greatest of care for them. Dress them nicely, clothe them nicely with garlands and offer very nice foodstuffs. And be happy with your son Samba and good husband and engage him fully in editing work. His work has suffered so much; I don’t know why Hayagriva has become so slack. Anyways please encourage him. I haven’t heard from him in some time. Where is he?
So now Their Lordships have arrived there in New Vrindaban. So you should see to it that New Vrindaban is developed so nicely and meets up to its name. Satya bhama and Paramananda and Ranadhir and others are there and your son is also growing strong. So please build up New Vrindaban very nicely And I am soon coming there so don’t be worried.
Hoping this will meet you in good health.
Your ever well wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
