New Vrindaban’s Transcendental Throwback Thursday – 09/11/14
This week’s challenge: Where is the sacred spot described on this rock?
What to do: Post your guesses on the “who, what, when, where & why” in the comment section at the New Vrindaban Facebook Page.
Here’s the info we have:
What: A photo of a rock engraved with words to commemorate a sacred spot where Srila Prabhupada delivered his “Bhagavat Dharma Discourses.”
During this time Srila Prabhupada described the event himself:
“Yes, the Bhagavata Dharma discourses here in New Vrindaban are going on very nicely and daily several hundred devotees and guests are coming to hear, and it is truly a wonderful time.”
Where: The hill above Bahulaban, often referred to as Govindaji. New Vrindaban, West Virginia.
When: September, 1972.
